Are you a seasoned Contract Manager looking for your next exciting opportunity? Join Ground Control, an award-winning external maintenance and environmental business, as we grow our footprint across Ireland.

This is your chance to lead from the front—managing key contracts, developing high-performing teams, and building long-term client relationships in a role where no two days are the same.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Contract Manager with Ground Control, you’ll take full responsibility for the operational delivery of arboriculture utility contracts across your region managing trees and vegetation around power lines and pylons. You will:

  • Oversee contract performance—delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget
  • Act as the main liaison for our clients, maintaining excellent relationships and swiftly resolving any issues
  • Lead, support, and develop your team of Project Managers, Coordinators, and Trainees
  • Manage financial performance, including forecasting, profit and loss, and hitting revenue targets
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities across your contracts

What We’re Looking For:

You’ll ideally come from an Arboriculture, Forestry, Grounds Maintenance, or Horticulture background, but we’re equally keen to hear from you if you have experience managing high-profile clients and contracts in other field-based service sectors.

You’ll also bring:

  • Proven experience in contract and financial management, as well as team leadership
  • Confidence using MS Office, GIS systems, Power BI, and contract management software
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
  • A proactive mindset and a passion for driving growth and continuous improvement

This is a field-based role across Ireland, so flexibility to travel and spend time on-site is key, with the added benefit of home working when not on the road. A driving licence is essential.

Why join us:

Exciting Growth Opportunities: Be part of a rapidly growing company with a dynamic team and expanding client base.
