About The Role

As a Training Officer, you’ll be instrumental in supporting our team’s growth and compliance journey. You’ll help us build a learning culture through efficient coordination, robust record-keeping, and compassionate delivery of training. With a balance of 75% administration and 25% hands-on training, this role is perfect for someone who enjoys both structure and people interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update training matrices across Operations and other departments
  • Ensure training requirements are met in alignment with matrix ownership
  • Log all training activities into Dayforce and maintain compliant, up-to-date records
  • Generate and share insightful training reports from Dayforce
  • Monitor adherence to training matrices and report to relevant Managers
  • Track and report on iHasco mandatory training completion
  • Deliver training sessions within your area of competence
  • Deliver Manual Handling training (full training provided)
  • Manage our First Aid Training program

Key Accountabilities

  • Support new hire inductions and onboarding for factory-specific processes
  • Keep skills and training matrices current and compliant
  • Maintain both electronic and hard-copy training documentation
  • Help manage the performance of all training-related KPIs
  • Assist Shift Managers in retraining or upskilling production operatives
  • Deliver training in line with documented Work Instructions
  • Liaise with external training providers to obtain quotes and schedule sessions aligned with workforce availability

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident in working with digital platforms (ideally Dayforce or similar)
  • Clear communicator, both written and verbal
  • Enthusiastic about facilitating growth and learning
  • Flexible and proactive in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to build relationships across teams and with external partners
