Contingent Trainer

We are currently recruiting for Contingent Trainers.This assignment will be office based for the first two weeks and home-based for the duration of the assignment - which is 3 months, with potential extensions to 6 months - and must be carried out from the UK - for the purposes of the assignment, the UK is defined as England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.It will pay a day rate of £280 per day (Umbrella) - to join our client, the Financial Ombudsman Service, the organisation that settles individual disputes between financial businesses and their customers

As the assignment is performed from home, you will need to provide your own equipment, such as laptop etc and have a reliable internet connection and appropriate environment for carrying out the assignment.

The assignment will require you to onboard, coach, and develop new starters to ensure they become confident skilled contingent investigators and the best ambassador for the service they can be.

You’ll already be a competent coach, skilled in providing constructive feedback and development in both technical and interpersonal skills. You’ll have a good working knowledge of coaching theory and practice including how to write effective content would also be helpful.

The ideal candidate for this assignment will -

• experience as a Training Manager in the financial services industry
• experience of training new starters
• knowledge of various training methods including coaching, workshops, classroom training, mentoring and e-learning programmes
• excellent customer service skills, confident in both written and verbal communication and a strong focus on quality
• have excellent problem solving and decision-making skills, with outstanding attention to detail
• have experience managing conflicting deadlines with great time management skills
• outstanding IT and leadership skills

We are looking for candidates available to start on 13th January 2025 and the initial tenure for the assignment is 3 months with potential extensions to 6 months. This full-time Trainer (Contingent) assignment is deemed to be inside IR35, with a daily PAYE rate of£241.40 and Umbrella rate of £280 per day.
