Consultant Dermatologist in New Zealand
300,000 - 500,000 NZ$ (150,000 - 250,000 pounds)
A really exciting opportunity exists for a quality consultant dermatologist to join our private practice. If you are interested in a change of environment with autonomy not seen in the NHS then this could be the position for you.
There is great potential to earn well and be involved in business development.
As this is a private practice income depends on the caseload you choose.
This notion can be new to NHS doctors, but the freedom it provides is incredible. There is no after-hours commitment and no teaching or supervision expectation. This position might suit someone who wants to emigrate long-term or even someone nearing retirement wishing to spend a couple of years in another part of the world. We would welcome newly qualified dermatologists as well!
We currently have 3 consultant dermatologists. We have medical derm, surgical derm, and Mohs surgery. We also have facilities for laser derm, patch testing and nbUVB. We would value and consider any subspecialty.
What is most important is the attitude and personality you bring. We are located in central Wellington, a vibrant little capital city. We have good schools, sports facilities and an exceptional outdoor environment. Our team is very cohesive and supported well by well-trained nursing staff who make life efficient and easy.
