We are seeking a Permit Coordinator to join our prestigious client site in Wembley, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of building maintenance services and contractor management. This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact in a dynamic environment, with a focus on safety, compliance, and effective teamwork.
You will be a vital part of a dedicated team, ensuring that RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements) are reviewed, permits are issued, and contractors are managed safely on and off-site. As part of your role, you'll assist with a range of maintenance services, including project upgrades, planned and reactive works. Plus, enjoy the flexibility of a shift pattern with opportunities for overtime on event days.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Induction & Permit Processes: Guide and support contractors and team members in the induction process and permit issuance as part of a close-knit team.
- Review and Approve RAMS: Assess Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to ensure works are carried out safely and in compliance with standards.
- Permit to Work Management: Ensure the correct Permit to Work is implemented and maintained for all activities.
- Monitoring Isolations: Record and track Electrical and Mechanical Isolations, ensuring proper documentation is completed and maintained.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance documentation is accurate, properly filed, and audit-ready for internal and external reviews.
- Incident Investigation: Lead and participate in the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify and mitigate potential risks.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment and has the following experience and skills:
- Permit or Compliance Experience: Previous experience working in a permit or compliance team with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
- Permit Work & Isolation Expertise: A solid understanding of Permit to Work systems and isolation procedures.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to build effective relationships with contractors and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
- Desirable: CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) experience will be a bonus.
