Pay: £28 Umbrella PAYE per hour or £22.83 PAYE
Department: The Place, Property, and FM
Reporting to: Compliance and Energy Manager
Location: On-site at Hammersmith Offices
About The Role
As a Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in managing the council’s Hard FM statutory compliance programme, helping to uphold statutory responsibilities across the corporate estate. Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating surveys and planned preventative maintenance (PPMs).
Managing contractor access and ensuring certifications are delivered promptly.
Reviewing compliance documentation and recommending remedial actions.
Keeping compliance trackers and the CAFM system (Technology Forge) up to date.
Producing detailed compliance reports and monitoring contractor KPIs.
Supporting premises controllers with compliance record maintenance.
Staying current with evolving building regulations through ongoing training.
About You
We’re seeking a motivated individual with:
Essential skills in databases, Microsoft Excel, and general IT systems.
Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Desirable experience in compliance or property management.
A technical background (advantageous but not required) to enhance your understanding of building systems and compliance processes.
