A highly successful accountancy practice based in Wells undergoing growth and expansion is searching for a qualified accountant who is interested in moving into an internal compliance focused role developing and implementing compliance policies joining as a Compliance Manager where you will carve a key role within this growing firm.

Based in Wells this leading accountancy practice is undergoing continued growth and planning for the firms ongoing future success and growth. A mix of remote/home working with two days working from to office based working is on offer and the firm also offers flexible hours, parking and highly competitive salary and benefit packages.

Description

Joining the firm as Compliance Manager you will play a lead role in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures looking at existing policies, improving and making changes. You will manage audit compliance reviews and also undertake training on compliance, educating the wider team on their understanding, monitoring CPD ensuring the team are kept up to date. There will be scope to carve a really key position within this growing office and progress in your career.

Profile

For this Compliance Manager role you will be any of: ACA ACCA, ATT, CTA qualified with a career background developed within accountancy practice. You may also have had a more hands on, client delivery focused background so far as a Client Manager within an existing managerial, review capacity overseeing the delivery of accounts, tax services and wider services to a mixed client base of limited companies, SMEs and OMBs, sole traders and partnerships. You will be motivated and looking for an opportunity where you can move into a more analytical, detail orientated and internally focused role, improving compliance procedures, along with training and developing others on this side. You will be looking for a challenging, long term permanent career move where you can carve a career and see a route to progress within a highly successful chartered firm of accountants.

Job Offer

Circa £36,000 - £48,000 + benefits, negotiable dependent on experience and background of the right professional.
