We are currently seeking a Female Support Worker to join our dedicated team in Middlesbrough, providing care and support to a young client with dystonic cerebral palsy. The client uses a wheelchair and requires assistance with various aspects of daily living.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred care to a client with complex health conditions
  • Assist with personal care, hygiene, and supported outings
  • Administer medication and observe any changes in health or behaviour
  • Offer emotional support and companionship
  • Keep accurate care records and communicate effectively with the care team and family
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care

About You

  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs, ideally dystonic cerebral palsy
  • paediatric experience
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence
  • Confident, empathetic, and patient in approach
  • Able to follow detailed care plans
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider support network
  • Flexible to work the specified hours and open to occasional additional shifts
