Where will you be working?

You’ll be working alongside our ATEX and Electrical Services Teams, predominately within the water industry, but also in the Energy and Manufacturing industries.

What will you be doing?

MEICA and capital maintenance - Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.

You’ll be responsible for carrying out a range of electrical installations and maintenance projects in hazardous areas, all in accordance with BS7671: 18th Edition and BS60079, whilst ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

You’ll be working alongside our established team of experts, which means you will receive a wide range of industry help and support.

What You’ll Bring

  • You’ll have previous experience of ATEX zones and hazardous areas
  • You’ll have working knowledge of a wide range of Ex protection concepts, including but not limited to:Ex d - flameproof, Ex e - Increased Safety and Ex i - Intrinsic Safety
  • You’ll have CompEx Ex01 - Ex04 (Gas & Vapours)
  • You’ll have completed an NVQ Level 3 (Maintenance or Installation)
  • You’ll have also completed 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regs and City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection and Testing
  • You’ll have industrial experience
  • Preferably, you’ll also have CompEx Ex05 - Ex06 (Dust), PASMA, IPAFIOSH and CCNSG
