Mediplacements are looking to recruit a band 6 Speech and Language Therapist for a locum position with our client in Preston.
The pay for this position is GBP27:GBP35 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.
Job Description
Band 6 ( but may consider Band 5 or Band 7 if more suited experience and knowledge dependent)
Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) experienced and dysphagia trained/qualified. Experienced in stroke and ABI, community experience desirable but not essential. Candidates must have recent working SLT experience in Adult Neuro conditions.
(Note: adult acquired not paediatric therapist). The service are opening the jobs up to Band 5 and Band 7 candidates too, this does not mean that Band 6 SaLTs can be submitted at Band 7 rate, because the job will be adapted to fit the banding if a Band 5 or Band 7 is successful, so they have to have relevant experience and knowledge at the banding they are submitted at.
