Position

An opportunity has arisen for a Community Mental Health Nurse Staff Nurse at Ailsa Hospital.

What You Will Do

The team works within a multidisciplinary and multi-agency approach to provide high quality care and treatment to service users who have enduring mental health needs. You will have responsibility for the assessment of care needs, development, implementation and evaluation of nursing programmes of care for a variety of client groups within the community.

You will be responsible for the management of a caseload with supervision both from nursing and psychology colleagues.

You will require to be a registered mental health nurse and be able to demonstrate continuous professional development. You should be able to evidence current statutory and mandatory training being up to date and show a willingness to undertake appropriate training.

You will be expected to supervise nursing colleagues as well as mentor student nurses

Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job

  • RMN essential.
  • A mature, responsible, empathic outlook on health care delivery which respects client’s dignity and human rights.
  • Ability to carry out delegated tasks effectively, timeously and to report on outcomes.
  • Organisational skills.
  • Time keeping and time management skills
  • A range of relevant clinical skills and experience.

2 positions - 37 hours per week

UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership

UK driving licence/Car ownership is essential to this role.
