Hours of work: 30 hours per week.
We would consider both term time only or all year round working patterns. We can also be flexible around the number of hours per week, and working pattern for the right candidate. A job share would also be considered.
Example salary:
30 hours per week, term time only £17,030 - £18,220 (Actual Salary)
30 hours per week, all year round £20,366 - £21,788
Northern Star Academies Trust seek to recruit the very best people to work across our Trust Partnership. We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate communications professional, with digital experience, to join our newly formed Corporate Affairs team.

As our Communications Officer no two days will be the same! In this brand new role, you will work with the Director of Corporate Affairs to develop and deliver impactful communications and marketing activities. You will take a lead on maintaining an an engaging presence across the Trust’s portfolio of websites, develop our social media presence and create compelling content that resonates with our diverse audiences.
This role offers a great deal of flexibility (such as school hours, and term-time only contracts) and development opportunities for the right candidate.
We are looking for an adaptable, motivated self-starter who values collaboration and team work but is equally confident when it comes to using their own initiative and working independently. Above everything else we are looking for someone who shares our values and our commitment to delivering an excellent education for every child.

Working closely with the Director of Corporate Affairs, the NSAT Communications Officer will support the diverse marketing and communications needs of our growing family of primary and secondary schools. They will create engaging communications materials and content for both on and offline channels with specific responsibility for maintaining up-to-date, compliant and engaging Trust websites.
