About The Role - Salary £35,000 - £40,000

As Communications Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering engaging internal and external communications across a fast-paced, multi-site business. You’ll create compelling content, manage media relations, and support a wide range of campaigns and events that build connection and engagement across our 15,000 colleagues and 900+ sites.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and deliver communication plans across diverse business areas
• Create engaging content for intranet, newsletters, social media, press releases, and more
• Collaborate with teams to shape our communications calendar
• Manage media enquiries and liaise with agencies and stakeholders
• Provide expert communication advice and support
• Analyse campaign performance and drive continuous improvement
• Support internal and external events, including live online sessions
• Oversee multimedia content creation, including briefing photographers and videographers
  
  

What You’ll Bring

Essential:

• Degree or equivalent experience in communications
• Proven experience in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
• Strong project and campaign management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Skilled in multi-channel communications and media handling
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, and basic photo/video editing
  
  

Desirable:

• 5+ years in communications or PR
• Experience in veterinary, healthcare, retail, or similar sectors
• Familiarity with intranet platforms, monday.com, and email tools
