About The Role

At EKFB we’re shaping Infrastructure for a better tomorrow. All four of our partners ( Eiffage , Kier, Ferrovial and BAM) bring specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.

We’re recruiting a Commercial Manager to join our team based in the Buckingham area. This role is specifically focussed on Contract change. Due to the remote location of this role, we ask that you hold a full driving license and have access to a vehicle to be able to get to and from work.

In this role you will carry out both periodical duties and one-off tasks in accordance with deadlines and as directed by the Senior Commercial Team. You'll be responsible for the c hange management strategy development and delivery.

We'd need you to provide c ommercial advice, training and support to our commercial and delivery teams. Upstream contract administration including early warning notification, compensation event notification and quotation preparation.

You'll need to liaise with the client and negotiate change. You must ensure c ompliance with business processes and procedures at all times. You'll also look at d evelopment of innovations, processes and procedures.

About You

  • Qualified with a Quantity Surveying degree or similar
  • Member of a relevant professional institution (CICES, RICS etc.)
  • Experience in a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor position
  • Excellent NEC 3 ECC experience including compensation event process
  • Excellent leadership skills, communication and organisation skills
  • Hold a full driving license
