You’ll Be Responsible For
- Contract management: Oversee the commercial administration of contracts from pre-award to completion. This includes supporting the procurement process, ensuring successful contract awards, and managing contracts through their execution phase.
- Financial performance: Maximise operational and financial performance while minimising commercial risks. This involves detailed financial analysis, margin analysis, revenue forecasts, and cost management.
- Stakeholder communication: Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams, to ensure clear understanding and alignment on commercial matters.
- Risk management: Identify and assess commercial risks and opportunities, working with senior leadership to mitigate risks and capitalise on growth opportunities.
- Business development support: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop commercial strategies that align with business growth objectives. Provide insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
- Reporting: Prepare commercial reports that track performance against targets and provide detailed financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying or a related fields
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in a commercial or quantity surveying role on a major infrastructure project.
- Proven track record of managing commercial activities, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
