We are actively looking for a Commercial Account Executive to join the team in Worcester . Looking to grow our already well-established Commercial team with 35+ years’ experience. In this role you will be responsible for building rapport with new and existing clients, which could range from a single sole trader or SME business through to the MD of a larger organisation. You would be working closely with the Senior Management team to achieve objectives.
Commercial Account Executive - Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans to acquire new clients and expand our commercial insurance portfolio.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique insurance needs and providing customised solutions.
Analyse client risk exposures and recommend appropriate insurance products and coverage limits to mitigate risks effectively.
Negotiate terms and conditions with insurance underwriters to secure competitive quotes and coverage options for clients.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve client enquiries or concerns in a timely manner.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to provide proactive advice and solutions to clients.
Qualifications
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional service to clients.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Relevant Insurance Qualifications (e.g., CII) Desirable But Not Essential.
Commercial Account Executive - Main duties (but not limited to)
Providing quotations on all Commercial product lines, including Commercial Insurance, with customers demands and needs.
Arranging client new business and renewal meetings
Mainly sourcing new business, however you will assist with Mid-term adjustments, issuance and renewals
Liaising and negotiating with Insurers and Underwriters on terms and conditions for premiums and terms.
Liaising with insurers and underwriters on terms and endorsements
Sales, customers service and teamwork
Working to targets and deadlines
Prospecting and networking the area
Competitive basic salary of up to £48 K (DOE)
On going training and development - Further studies paid (Cert CII)
