Cloud Data Engineer & Tester

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct testing for batch systems processing large datasets.
  • Utilize technologies such as Python, PySpark, SQL, AWS (EMR, S3), and Apache Airflow.
  • Collaborate in Agile environments using GitLab for version control.
  • Perform data validation and quality checks on structured and unstructured data.
  • Work with credit risk data, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Apply basic UNIX knowledge for debugging and managing test environments.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Hands-on experience in data engineering and testing within cloud-based ecosystems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in data-driven testing.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes, data pipelines, and workflow automation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile development environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in AWS, Data Engineering, or Software Testing.
  • Previous experience in finance, banking, or credit risk data handling.
