An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Research Support Worker to join our laboratory team in the South-East Scottish Cancer Research Network (SE-SCRN). SE-SCRN maintains and oversees a large portfolio of clinical trials across all cancer groups, maximising and enhancing treatment options for individuals affected by cancer.

This is a full-time, band 3 position (37 hours/week) working Monday-Friday and is based in the Edinburgh Cancer Centre at the Western General Hospital.

The department is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and diligent individual with a genuine interest in research, ideally with experience working in a laboratory environment. The post-holder will be responsible for stock control of clinical trial supplies, handling basic biological samples including collection, processing and shipping and should be trained to SVQ level 3 or equivalent. Training in GCP/GCLP would be advantageous.
