The shift pattern for this position is Mon – Fri 8.30 – 4.30.
Would you like to practice in a new and innovative way? An opportunity to be one of the first clinical pharmacy technicians to practice in mental health services in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde has arisen. You will join the pharmacy team at Stobhill and participate in the expansion of a new model of integrated pharmacy care within the wards providing services to patients from the north east of Glasgow.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week. - A pharmacy technician, registered with the GPhC.
- Should have at least 2 years post registration experience preferably in a hospital setting.
- You will also hold an accredited dispensary accuracy checking qualification.
- A strong interest in mental health practice is desirable however appropriate education and training will be provided.
