Our Mission
At Big Health, we exist to help millions return to good mental health by delivering fully digital, non-drug treatments for the most common mental health conditions. Our evidence-based programmes, Sleepio for insomnia and Daylight for anxiety, empower people with first-line cognitive and behavioural therapies they can access anytime, anywhere.
In pursuit of this mission, we’ve pioneered the world’s first truly scalable digital therapeutic model, working hand-in-hand with leading healthcare organisations, including Scotland’s NHS, where our solutions are already improving lives across the country. Through science-led product innovation, rigorous clinical evaluation, and a commitment to equitable access, we’re shaping the next generation of medicine and redefining how mental health care is delivered.
Join us as we continue building a healthier future, one that is digital, evidence-driven, and designed for everyone. This role is based in Scotland and requires the successful candidate to live and work in Scotland while benefiting from remote-working flexibility.
Join Us
As Clinical Lead in Scotland, you will be responsible for creating and nurturing the relationship between Big Health UK and NHS teams in Scotland. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including Primary Care stakeholders, Area Drug & Therapeutic Committees and Scottish Government’s Digital Mental Health Teams, to ensure the clinical and professional delivery of Big Health treatments and educational resources in the NHS is effective, sensitive, sustainable and aligned with NHS priorities.
You will be an external champion for digital therapeutics and also be a point of escalation for clinical safety issues across the teams. You will report to our UK Medical Director. This post will be part-time, 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Big Health may use artificial intelligence tools (AI) to support certain US hiring processes, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses. These tools may assist our US recruitment team, but do not replace our human judgment. Our recruitment process is supervised by humans and final hiring determinations are ultimately made by humans. Big Health does not use AI to support its UK hiring processes.
The UK base salary range for this role, based on a full-time equivalent (FTE), is £30,000 - £50,000. This role is part-time (2 days per week), and the final salary will be pro-rated based on agreed working hours. Please note that the compensation details listed in UK role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Additional compensation may include benefits, variable pay, discretionary bonuses, and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all UK locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.
