Vets for Pets
Date: 1 week ago
City: Bridlington
Contract type: Full time

Job Description
We’re looking for a full time Clinical Lead to join our small, friendly and experienced team at Bridlington Vets for Pets.
This is the perfect steppingstone for an experienced vet to progress into leadership and inspire the current team, whilst being instrumental in the direction the practice takes. You will have the opportunity learn on the job and work closely with the Practice Manager in the day to day running of the practice, with the support from our highly knowledgeable regional team.
We pride ourselves on being very much at the heart of this community and are equally committed to making sure all our team have the working pattern and environment they need to thrive.
We are looking for a someone comfortable with sole charge, who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team. No OOH will be required, and we are closed on Sundays. A well-established and growing client base provides an interesting array of cases whatever your interest – no two days are the same at Bridlington Vets for Pets!
Bridlington is a lovely seaside town with 2 award winning beaches, both beaches allow for gorgeous scenic walks along the coastline in each direction. Along the coast we have the RSPB nature reserve at Bempton Cliffs, home to Puffins, Gannets, Kittiwakes and Guillemots. In fact, Bempton is one of the largest Puffin breeding colonies in the UK and is a spectacular sight, with the peak breeding occurring between April and mid-July.
In spring and summer Corn Buntings, Skylarks and Linnets breed in the grassland and scrub where land meets the sea, while Kestrel and Barn Owls hunt under wide open skies, often joined in winter by Short-eared Owls. It's a truly beautiful place to live and work!
If beaches aren’t your thing, we’re surrounded by beautiful countryside, including the Yorkshire Wolds and the North York Moors, which is perfect for hiking and camping on your days off.
Our purpose-built practice is situated less than a mile away from the picturesque seafront, close to the train station with excellent transport links to nearby towns and cities like Hull, Scarborough & York. We have all the equipment you would expect to find in a busy general practice and are a Gold ISFM cat friendly and silver RWAF practice.
We offer a salary of up to £85,000 (DOE) + £5,000 relocation/welcome bonus as well as benefits including:
If you share our passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare and great customer service or would like an informal chat about the role, please e-mail Jack at [email protected]
We are an equal opportunities employer.
Location: YO16 4SH
Pets just see people. They aren’t biased and they don’t discriminate. We take our inspiration from pets, and we value and respect difference in all its forms. Our aim is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and every colleague can help us achieve this. We encourage our people to be themselves so even if your skills and experience don’t perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you!
