This is a fantastic opportunity for you to develop your skills and be part of the Climate Change Trading & Regulatory Services (CCTRS) team assisting customers to comply with their obligations to the UK Government’s climate change schemes.
The types of work you may be involved in include:
Whilst we are working flexibly between office locations and home, occasional travel to offices will be required. Your base location will be Warrington, Sheffield or Preston. Travel/commuting to your contractual office base location is at your own expense.
The team
These roles sit within Climate Change Trading and Regulatory Services (CCTRS). We regulate and administer various UK Government climate change schemes. The aim is to protect and improve our environment.
Regimes include UK Emissions Trading Scheme, UK ETS Registry, Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases and Ozone Depleting Substances, Clean Heat Market Mechanism, Climate Change Agreements and Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme. These regimes are central to ensuring the UK is meeting targets relating to greenhouse gas emissions.

Experience/skills Required
- Good organisational skills to manage a varied workload, as well as the ability to take personal responsibility for your own performance and development.
- The ability to consistently deliver work to high standards, meet targets and deliver deadlines across multiple areas of work.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - demonstrating the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal colleagues and external customers is essential.
- Ability to coordinate the collection, assessment and reporting of diverse and varied data.
