Description

This is an excellent opportunity to join our GB Retail business as a Client Service Executive. We are seeking candidates with a broad knowledge of insurance products and markets together with a passion for client service and excellent communication skills. You should also be working towards or have gained a Dip CII or be willing to do this.

We now operate a Hybrid work style which enables you to work from home for 2-3 days per week.

Office Locations: Ipswich, Bristol, Birmingham, Glasgow and Reading

The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding client service and support to a portfolio of new and existing clients operating across a broad range of exciting industry sectors including Infrastructure & Utilities, Manufacturing & Industrial, Land Transport, Leisure & Hospitality, Retail and Financial Services.

No two days are ever the same, as our client base encompasses every type of business based in the UK, many of whom also have full global reach and consequently provide a variety of new challenges and opportunities for you to get involved in, including managing and developing relationships.

Specific Duties Will Include

Client Relationship Management

  • Understand the clients’ business and their risk management needs and look for solutions to deliver those needs through the provision of ongoing service.
  • Identify primary budget holders and decision makers within clients, establish and maintain active relationships with these people.
  • Determine appropriate solutions, structure, price and placement strategies that meet the clients’ needs and deliver profitable business for a range of clients.
  • Understand, apply and where necessary explain policies and procedures.
  • Provide technical, industry and subject matter expertise where required.
  • Draw on expertise within specialist technical teams within the business unit and across the Group for clients as required.
  • Liaise with clients and build strong relationships.

Placement Management

  • Deliver optimisation of revenue from new and existing clients using the full range of appropriate placement channels and markets for the specific client segment of the business
  • Work closely and maintain working relationships with the market contacts (and the Broking Team) as required

Operational & Service Delivery

  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, markets and others where appropriate to maximise service delivery levels

Qualifications

The Requirements

  • Thorough technical knowledge of property, liability and motor insurance
  • Proven track record of delivering outstanding client service
  • Ability to produce accurate, easily understandable documentation for clients.
  • Ability to manage own workload and balance competing priorities.
  • Work effectively in a variety of teams
  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
