Job Title: Client Development Manager

As a Client Development Manager at Medigold Health, you will play a key role in strengthening our relationships with existing clients and supporting the continued growth of our business. Acting as a trusted partner, you will work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients to understand their evolving needs, identify opportunities for growth, and promote the full range of our occupational health and wellbeing services.

This is a varied and dynamic role that will see you combining strategic thinking with hands-on account management - whether building rapport through regular virtual catch-ups, visiting client sites to provide tailored support, or collaborating internally to ensure a seamless service experience. You will also take the lead on identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, managing contract renewals, and proactively resolving queries to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.

Working remotely with some travel as required, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is commercially minded, relationship-focused, and passionate about delivering outstanding client service to make a real impact within a fast-paced and supportive team.


Specific Responsibilities 

Client Duties

  • Represent Medigold Health as a trusted partner, consistently promoting its services and value proposition.
  • Execute a strategic contact plan to build relationships with key stakeholders and promote growth.
  • Understand client needs and proactively recommend additional services to address gaps or add value.
  • Actively identify, pitch, and close opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Medigold Health services in line with key targets.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks to client satisfaction.
  • Resolve client queries and escalations within agreed timeframes, showcasing responsiveness to build trust and loyalty.

Commercial Duties

  • Drive client contract renewals, ensuring terms align with sales objectives and strategic goals.
  • Maintain detailed and actionable Salesforce records, focusing on tracking sales progress and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure timely payments while leveraging interactions to explore revenue growth.

Additional Duties

  • Partner with Sales and Customer Experience teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients, focusing on identifying future sales potential.
  • Contribute to business projects with a focus on increasing client engagement and sales opportunities.
  • Stay updated on market trends, client needs, and competitive offerings to refine sales strategies.
  • Deliver insights and ideas for revenue generation and client satisfaction.

General Responsibilities

  • Promote the company’s values and vision, highlighting its competitive advantages to clients.
  • Act as a role model by contributing to a high-performance sales-driven culture.
  • Proactively share ideas to improve the client experience and identify new business opportunities.


Requirement for this role

  • Qualification or equivalent experience in Relationship Management desirable.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, effective across verbal, written, and phone interactions with all stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior managers, directors, and key stakeholders.
  • Skilled in influencing key decision-makers both internally and externally.
  • Excellent time and diary management, with the ability to work remotely and travel for client meetings, site visits, and work-from-home arrangements.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Must hold a full, clean UK driving license and be willing to travel.
