Client Care Advisor (Holiday Cover)

Here at Myerscough Veterinary Group, we are looking for a friendly and approachable Veterinary Receptionist to join our team to cover holidays. The role will involve travelling across all of our branches to cover Receptionist holidays as needed.

This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week. There is no fixed rota pattern, each day would be different depending on who needs cover. Week day mornings usually start between 8:30am and 9:30am, occasionally earlier at 7:30am. Week nights usually finish at 18.15pm, occasionally later until 8:00pm while working at the hospital branch.

About The Role

• To be the first point of contact for clients and the general public both on the telephone and in person.
• Demonstrating a professional and knowledgeable impression to promote the practice and give confidence to our clients.
• Preparing prescription medication under vet instruction.
• Assisting the vet with animal handling as required.
• Admitting and discharging patients for routine operations.
• Control of stock in the branch to the agreed level including completion of stock takes.
• Care and presentation of the client areas and waiting room stock.
• Reconciling payments, cashing up, administration as required.
