We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Cleaner to join our client's team in a Hospital setting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Position: Cleaner
Location:Whalley BB7
Contract Type: Temporary (Possible temp to perm role)
Responsibilities
Ensure all areas of the hospital are maintained and cleaned to the highest standards.
Follow appropriate cleaning procedures for different areas, including patient rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
Sanitise and disinfect surfaces, equipment, and furniture to prevent the spread of infections.
Properly handle and dispose of waste and hazardous materials.
Restock cleaning supplies as needed.
Collaborate with other cleaners and their team in supporting a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and products.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Must have a minimum of a standard DBS.
Ideally someone who drives as it is a difficult location to get to on public transport.
Working Hours
Shifts for the role will vary between 9am - 5pm, 10am - 6pm, or some evening shifts at 4pm - 7pm. Flexibility to work on weekends or holidays may also be required based on the hospital's needs.
