Are you an experienced site leader with a passion for delivering excellence in civil engineering projects? We're looking for a Civil Engineering Supervisor to help drive programme delivery, lead high-performing teams, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance on every job.

What you’ll do:

You'll assist the Contract Manager in overseeing site operations for stand-alone projects or within larger framework agreements. From managing resources and resolving site issues, to ensuring environmental compliance and client satisfaction — you’ll be the driving force behind operational success.

What you'll be doing:

Plan and supervise all site-level activities to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to spec

Lead site teams, subcontractors and field staff with a hands-on, proactive approach

Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks, audits and risk assessments

Maintain detailed site documentation including daily diaries, timesheets, RAMS, SSOWs, and Task Briefing Sheets

Ensure compliance with environmental, quality and health & safety standards

Build strong relationships with clients, landowners, and key stakeholders

Support digital record-keeping through company systems (e.g., SharePoint)

What you'll bring:

Strong leadership and team coordination skills

Excellent understanding of site-level construction practices and safety standards

A detail-driven, documentation-focused mindset

The ability to communicate clearly with teams, clients, and stakeholders

Proficiency in IT systems (GC systems, SharePoint, digital tools)

Qualifications:

NVQ Level 3 or above in a relevant discipline

CSCS card (Site Manager or Supervisor level)

SMSTS or SSSTS

PIC/COSS and Temporary Works Supervisor (where applicable)

Full UK Driving Licence

Proven experience in managing civil engineering or infrastructure projects (rail experience highly desirable)
