Overview

We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join PM Group working for us based out of our Birmingham office.

Job Title: Civil Engineer

Location: Birmingham

Contract: Full Time - Permanent

Responsibilities

As a Civil Engineer you will be responsible for supporting civil engineering design and technical input for our project delivery.

Focus on civil engineering design of site development works, earthworks, road design, underground drainage (surface, foul and process) and utility works

A role that will be part of a multi-disciplinary internal team of Architects, Engineers and Designers as well as client interaction and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering
  • Working towards chartered engineer status (ICE)
  • Experience and knowledge in civil engineering design of related project type works (e.g. drainage systems, earthworks…)
  • Design related software proficiency (e.g. AutoCAD, Windes, Revit, Civil 3D, PDS, Autotrack)
  • Site construction experience would be beneficial
  • Confident communicator
  • Strong interpersonal skills (ability to interact with all stakeholders both externally & internally)
  • A proactive approach with a ‘can do’ attitude to tasks and responsibilities.
