We are currently looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our already fantastic team in the Gloucestershire area. We are offering full-time and part-time opportunities. This role is currently paying £12.82 per hour with enhancements for waking nights and weekend work.

So, what will you be doing and how will you make an impact?

  • You will have the chance to work with a wide range of people including children and young adults who have a variety of psychological, behavioural, social and mental health concerns.
  • You’ll assist with every aspect of daily living, promoting the individuals to be as independent as possible. This includes prompting with personal care, domestic duties, food preparation and outings such as shopping, meals and meeting friends and family.
  • You will take part in managing behaviours that challenge with consistency and empathy to ensure individuals are content in their daily living.
  • You will contribute, arrange, and assist with planning meaningful activities and events that are sure to leave a positive impact on each person you support.
  • Be a positive and encouraging person promoting the best support and care possible.

Is there anything we need from you?

  • We’ll need you to have at least 6 months’ experience as a Support Worker with strong experience with the conditions above, this is non-negotiable.
  • A full UK driving license is essential due to the location of the services and your duties on shift
  • A good work ethic and good timekeeping is a must.
  • Full right to work and residency in the UK is a must, we are unable to offer sponsorship or relocation assistance.
