- Equip and resource parishes to engage children and families in Christian discipleship.
- Develop innovative programmes aligned with our Diocesan Growth Strategy.
- Mentor and support paid and volunteer children and family workers.
- Promote evangelism and lifelong vocation among children and their families.
- Foster stronger links between church schools and parish ministry.
- Be part of a supportive team committed to growing faith among children and families
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in children and families ministry within a Christian context.
- Understands mission and evangelism principles in the Church of England.
- Can inspire and equip others through training and mentoring.
- Is adaptable, organised, and an excellent communicator.
- Is a practising Christian (Genuine Occupational Requirement applies).

What We Offer
- A salary of £38,600 per annum
- Flexi-time and hybrid working. The role is based at Church House, Hove with the opportunity to apply to use the DBF’s remote working policy to work from home for part of the week
- Enrolment into the Diocesan Pension Scheme with a 15.1% employer contribution and flexible employee contribution of between 0-6%
- 28 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays and an additional 2 privilege days leave per year
- Free parking at Church House, use of the ride to work scheme and free eye tests
