Chef de Partie at Milton Hill House

£31,000 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Chef de Partie to help us create exceptional food experiences for Milton Hill House on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

Nestled in Abingdon near Oxford and surrounded by 22 acres of tranquil parkland our hotel boasts stunning views making us a preferred choice for accommodation, conferences, weddings, corporate events, and more.

With over 20 meeting rooms and 114 bedrooms, Restaurant and Bar, we also have a fantastic onsite leisure club.

Here's What You Need To Know Before Applying

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assist the sous chef in daily food preparation activities
  • Monitor inventory and expiration dates of raw goods
  • Support the growth of commis chefs
  • Ensure high quality food production, preparation, and presentation
  • Observe all applicable standards


Who You Are

  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Have a strong understanding of health + safety and food safety guidelines within the kitchen including COSHH and HACCP
  • Have a passion for food and the confidence to be innovative
  • Great attention to detail
