As a Chef at Sodexo inNorth Devon District Hospital, you’ll have an enthusiasm for food and a willingness to learn and develop your skills. What you’ll do:

  • Assist with the preparation and cooking of dishes under the guidance of the head or senior chef.
  • Ensure work areas and equipment are kept clean and tidy
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the brigade to ensure service runs smoothly.
  • Comply with all Company and hospital policies and procedures.

What You Bring

  • Basic food-handling skills are desirable, but not essential if you are willing to learn.
  • Previous kitchen experience
  • Great communication skills
  • A positive attitude
  • Willing to learn new skills e.g., Health & Safety, Health & Hygiene, Food Safety
