The opportunity:

The Change and Improvement Lead is responsible for driving business change initiatives, continuous improvement, and upskilling within the organization. This role involves presenting change initiatives to senior leaders, managing stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, and leading the development of the monthly non-financial performance review. The ideal candidate will have experience in Power BI, LEAN Six Sigma, coaching, and people leadership, with a curiosity about the insurance industry and underwriting processes. They will be comfortable managing projects, needing to engage with a variety of stakeholders and ensure that benefits are captured. They will be comfortable coaching and supporting team members who work across data and change disciplines and will be pivotal in establishing a positive team environment.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead business change projects.
  • Ensure successful implementation and sustainability of change initiatives understanding how they fit into the wider ZM business strategy.
  • Upskill and coach team members on continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Potential for up to 4 direct reports.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure team success.
  • Present change initiatives and project updates to senior leaders.
  • Collaborate effectively in fast-paced environment.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure project alignment and support.
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication across departments.
  • Lead the development of the monthly non-financial performance review.
  • Collate and understand a wide range of operational data to ensure senior leaders are having the right conversations .

What are we looking for?

  • LEAN Six Sigma: Green belt preferred or other project management and change qualifications.
  • Power BI: Experience in creating and implementing solutions using Power BI.
  • Coaching and Leadership: Proven experience in coaching and people leadership.
  • Industry Knowledge: Curiosity about the insurance industry and underwriting processes.

Qualifications:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage a team effectively.
