As a Catering Assistant, you’ll support our catering team with the preparation and service of meals for guests and staff. Key Responsibilities
Food Service & Preparation
- Serve meals to guests and staff.
- Assist with basic food preparation (e.g., cereals, salad bar, drinks).
- Store and rotate food correctly in line with HACCP regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas, including trays, bins, and floors.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.
- Follow all Allergen procedures
- Assist with unpacking and storing deliveries.
- Support other departments (e.g., housekeeping) during busy periods.
- Greeting guests in the Canteen
- An interest in catering and/or hospitality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Hard-working with a genuine desire to make our guests happy
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting is desirable but not essential.
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
- Team player who enjoys working in a sociable environment.
- Commitment to delivering excellent service to guests.
