The Role of Casual Kit Coordiantor

To Casual Kit Coordinator will support the Kit Operations department with the smooth daily operation of First Team training, providing hands-on assistance with equipment and kit set-up, and ensuring high presentation standards across all areas. In addition, the role will provide afternoon and evening support to the laundry team to ensure all First Team and Academy kit requirements are completed to the Club’s professional standards.

Main Accountabilities

Training Support (mornings):

  • When required, assist the Kit & Equipment team in the preparation and set-up of First Team training sessions, including the distribution of kit, balls, mannequins, bibs, and training equipment
  • Ensure training pitches and surrounding areas are clean, tidy, and properly equipped prior to and following each session
  • Support training recovery and pack-down, returning all equipment to designated storage areas in a clean and organised manner
  • Respond promptly to any last-minute requests or changes during sessions
  • Maintain and uphold First Team standards of presentation and efficiency at all times
  • Ensure all storage and working areas are kept clean, organised and secure
  • Undertake any additional duties as reasonably required by your line manager

Laundry Support (afternoons):

  • When required, provide afternoon and evening support to the Kit & Equipment team, ensuring all First Team and Academy kit is washed, dried, folded, and stored correctly.
  • Assist with label checking, sorting, and quality control of returned and outgoing kit.
  • Help prepare next-day training kit to ensure all items are clean, complete, and presented to First Team standards.
  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols when handling kit and equipment.
  • Ensure all storage and working areas are kept clean, organised and secure
  • Undertake any additional duties as reasonably required by your line manager

General Club Accountabilities

Person Specification - Essential Personal Characteristics

  • A strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, bank holidays, and variable hours based on training schedules
  • A proactive, team-first attitude with willingness to support across different areas as needed

Person Specification - Desirable Characteristics

  • Previous experience in a professional sports or team environment is advantageous but not essential
