Caseworker - Child Maintenance Service

We're hiring caseworkers to join our brilliant DWP Child Maintenance Services Team.
In CMS we responsible for all aspects of child maintenance. Our objective is to get money to children, and you will help us to do that better than ever.
You'll join a friendly and supportive team, providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced service centre and telephony environment.
You'll be supporting separated families and securing children's futures by promoting financial responsibility and supporting maintenance payments and arrangements.
Job description:
Successful candidates can expect to be involved in a range of the following:
- Providing excellent customer service over the phone, through inbound and outbound telephone calls and via correspondence
- Dealing effectively and professionally with enquiries from customers and organisations, sometimes in challenging situations
- Often acting as the first point of contact for our customers, negotiation child maintenance arrangement and payments
- You will advise on payments, and non-payments, secure payments and take payment enforcement action where needed.
- Ensuring information and data is recorded accurately and that case records are up to date

Your role may be suitable for hybrid working, where you work part of the week in your DWP office and part of the week from home.
