Equans is recruiting for a Caretaker to join our team in Ken Stimpson School, Staniland Way, Peterborough PE46JY. This is a full time, permanent role working 40 hours per week. On offer is salary of £28,010.00 per annum and benefits package.


Shift Pattern:


0600-1500 (Weeks 1 & 3)

1030-1930 (Weeks 2 & 4)


What will you deliver?

  • Acting as the on-site point of contact for facilities requests
  • Carrying out basic maintenance, repairs, and planned tasks
  • Opening and closing buildings and ensuring site security
  • Responding to on-site emergencies
  • Maintaining cleanliness of buildings, grounds, and car parks
  • Liaising with school staff, management, and contractors
  • Supporting a 24/7 on-call rota

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience in facilities, caretaking, or site services (desirable)
  • Practical, organised, and customer-focused
  • Able to work independently across multiple sites
  • Strong awareness of health & safety
  • Driving licence
