Hours: 16 hours per week

Salary: £23,658.53 Per Annum (Pro rata) - Subject to increase following imminent pay review

Based at: The Royal Gwent Hospital Newport

Role Purpose

The GCIAAS service is designed to provide Information, Advice and Assistance to unpaid carers with the aim of supporting them in their caring role and encouraging them to look after their wellbeing.

Your role is to create a welcoming space in hospital settings offering carers the opportunity to talk about their situation and how to access support.

The Information Hubs are based in hospitals across Gwent and are facilitated by a range of partners and/or volunteers. This position is based in The Royal Gwent, with the possibility of providing support to other Hubs if required.
