Job Overview
We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to support the delivery of the Care Certificate and HCSW induction programme and support the practice of all learners on the Care Certificate clinically.
This role of Care Certificate facilitator provides the opportunity of supporting Health Care Support workers in gaining the essential knowledge, skills, and confidence to provide high-quality patient care.
Main duties of the job
The Care Certificate Facilitator is responsible for supporting the delivery and teaching of the Health Care Support Worker induction programme and clinical support for all learners on the Care Certificate to bridge the gap between theory and practice.
The Care Certificate facilitator will be working clinically for a minimum of 80% contracted work time and will be promoting best practice through education and clinical support.
You will also be maintaining a database of ongoing assessment for the Care Certificate.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Achieved Foundation degree or equivalent
- Nursing Qualification from EU or Non-EU
- Maths and English GCSE C+ or Functional Skills Maths and English Level 2
- Successful completion of the Care Certificate

- Minimum of 2 years experience of working in an acute care setting
- Customer care experience
- Experience of teaching/ facilitating learning

- Clear and accurate written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, proactively and as part of a team
- Ability to prepare, deliver and evaluate Care Certificate programme
- Coaching and Mentoring skills
