Providing Quality Care

Bluebird Care is a family business started in 2004, and today we are proud to be one of the largest providers of home care services across the UK. But what makes us different?

We’re committed to keeping people in the comfort of their own home, so we help with anything from everyday tasks around our customers’ homes through to complex care needs. We appreciate that every customer is different, and this is why every day will be different.

We were awarded ‘Outstanding by CQC/Care Inspectorate and for that reason, we pride ourselves on selecting the very best Live in Care teams.. If you are passionate about providing the very best care and have a minimum of 1 years Care experience, then this role could be the role for you and we would love to hear from you.

Roles and Responsibilities as a Live in Carer

Our Live-In Carers live in our customer’s homes and play an integral role in helping to keep them happy and healthy. The role of a Live-In Carer is like other Care roles with one notable exception, you are not a visitor, but a key part of the household.

Typically, you will help customers with personal care, companionship, social visits, trips out/holidays, meal planning and preparation, shopping, medication management and light housekeeping. All our Care staff receive regular training, supervisions, and ongoing support.

We can’t care for our customers if we don’t take care of our team so to make this possible, we offer:

Many benefits to becoming a Live-In Carer:

  • An excellent salary - Pay Rates: £700 - £770 per week + Expenses & Travel.
  • Potential to earn £35,000 + per year (provided you work 46 weeks)
  • Award winning training course, with accommodation provided, if required
  • Accrued holiday pay
  • Flexible work patterns, living with a customer for weeks/month at a time
  • Scheduled regular daily breaks
  • Opportunities for further training courses & Qualifications in Health and Social Care
  • 24/7 support from our office team and weekly supervisions
  • Accommodation and food paid whilst on assignments
  • Refer a friend bonus scheme

Please note, to be considered for this role all candidates must speak and write in fluent English. It is preferable if you are a driver, but not essential

But not only that, we take care of our team throughout the year, whether it's your birthday, Christmas, awards or simply because it’s a Thursday. We’re a family and we’re here to look after you today, tomorrow and every other day after that.
