Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Cardrew Logistics Operator - 6-month fixed term to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Are you a hands-on, detail-oriented individual with a passion for logistics and continuous improvement?
We're looking for a proactive Logistics Operative to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy making a real impact, we'd love to hear from you!
What you'll be doing:
As a Logistics Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and goods across our logistics operations - from goods-in to warehousing, packing and distribution. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction, reduce costs, and boost efficiency.
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing a variety of logistics tasks as directed by the Manager or Team Leader.
Supporting health & safety practices in line with EHS responsibilities.
Completing documentation and following ERP and operational procedures.
Working flexibly across all logistics areas based on business needs.
Maintaining high 6S standards and a clean, organised workspace.
Applying lean principles to streamline logistics processes.
Ensuring compliance with ISO standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001).
Participating in root cause analysis and supporting quality improvements.
Reporting near misses and contributing to a culture of safety and improvement.
Skills/Experience:
We're looking for someone who brings energy, initiative, and a team-first mindset. You'll also need:
Previous experience in logistics, including materials handling, warehousing, and distribution.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams.
A flexible, can-do attitude and a willingness to adapt.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
Confidence using IT tools, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Experience supporting investigations into non-conformance and root cause analysis.
