Job Description

At Rome2Rio and Omio, we’re now at the beginning of a bold new chapter: launching a premium advertising business that connects our global audience with the world’s top travel and tourism brands.

We’re looking for a Campaign Manager to join our growing Ad Operations & Account Management team. This is a pivotal role, responsible for ensuring the smooth execution, optimisation, and success of advertising campaigns across Rome2Rio’s platform.

The Campaign Manager plays a key role in the execution and optimisation of advertising campaigns across Rome2Rio’s global platform. This position is both client-facing and operationally focused, bridging creative, data, and delivery to ensure campaigns run smoothly and deliver measurable impact.

Working closely with Sales, Media & Insights, and cross-functional teams, the Campaign Manager develops and executes campaign creative and production strategies, manages delivery, and provides data-driven recommendations to improve performance. The ideal candidate combines strong technical execution skills, a creative eye, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced, international environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with Sales, clients, and internal teams to develop and execute creative and production strategies that bring campaigns to life across Rome2Rio’s ad formats.
  • Translate partner briefs into actionable campaign plans, ensuring accurate setup, trafficking, and delivery through Google Ad Manager and other platforms.
  • Use performance data, market trends, and travel insights to guide campaign optimisation and provide meaningful client recommendations.
  • Coordinate campaign production and asset delivery, collaborating with creative teams and external vendors to ensure timely launches.
  • Monitor pacing, performance, and delivery, proactively troubleshooting issues related to trafficking, creative, or billing.
  • Lead post-sale optimisation efforts, delivering actionable insights and detailed reporting in collaboration with the Media & Insights team.
  • Participate in client and partner calls to review campaign performance, share learnings, and maintain high standards of service and communication.
  • Drive operational efficiency by improving workflows, documenting best practices, and contributing to cross-functional alignment.
  • Collaborate with leadership on performance reporting, campaign approvals, and continuous process improvement across Ad Operations.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in digital campaign management or ad operations, ideally within travel, tourism, or media environments.
  • Strong understanding of Google Ad Manager (DFP), ad trafficking, and campaign delivery processes.
  • Ability to interpret campaign data and apply insights to improve performance and client outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Strong organisational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with technical troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Proficiency with reporting tools, Excel, and workflow management platforms.
  • Collaborative and proactive, thriving in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Experience in the travel industry is a plus.
