We're looking for a skilled and motivated clinician to lead our well-established Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) DBT pathway in Gloucestershire. Main duties of the job
Registered Healthcare Professional With Appropriate Qualifications.
Trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and experience working within a CAMHS DBT program, as outlined in the person specification.
Ability to manage a caseload of DBT clients, with flexibility to support non-DBT cases as needed.
Willingness to work regularly outside standard hours to facilitate multi-family skills groups.
Strong knowledge and experience delivering CAMHS DBT programs and interventions.
Skilled in conducting specialist assessments and formulations, addressing the full spectrum of children and young people's needs with clarity around potential differential diagnoses.
Capacity to clearly articulate a child's needs within the multi-disciplinary team and wider professional network, offering consultation when appropriate.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and training skills.
Understanding of the roles of various professional agencies in supporting the emotional, behavioural, and relational needs of children, with the ability to facilitate appropriate step-down care.
Proven experience in leading a CAMHS DBT program, including managing parent and young person skills groups.
Extensive background working within Core CAMHS, providing assessment and intervention for young people with high-level needs within the CPA framework.
Experience providing clinical supervision to colleagues
