We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Band 7 Clinical Specialist to join our Core CAMHS Team. We are a multidisciplinary team who work with young people who have moderate to severe mental health needs. The team provides mental health assessments and psychological therapies for co-morbid mental health needs.
The post holder will work in the CAMHS Huntingdon and Fenland Team Core Pathway to support and lead on service improvement initiatives, and provide effective clinical leadership and supervision to staff. They will support developments within the Children, Young People and Families Directorate and partner agencies, and promote and contribute to accessibility of the service, high quality evidence-based care, and efficient caseload management within the team.
The Core CAMHS Team are committed to a high level of patient care and the ideal candidate will have a strong team and work ethic, with accountability, interest in research and service development, accompanied by an ability to work under considerable pressure at times. This post is open to professionals with the right attributes to enhance a team. We are a multidisciplinary team who work together to provide the support our service users and there families / carers.
The post holder will be part of the Core CAMHS team providing services across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, with an office and clinical base in the central Team. They will provide evidence-based assessment and treatment to Children, young people, and families with moderate to severe mental health difficulties.
The post holder will work closely with the leadership team to supervise and support the assessment and therapy provided by other practitioners and other clinical members of teams who provide care and treatment.
