We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Calibration Technician to join our Qualification and Calibration Team in Wrexham. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution and management of all internal and external calibration activities across laboratory, production, and process equipment. You will ensure compliance with cGMP standards, support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to maintaining a safe and inspection-ready environment.

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Calibration Technician to join our Qualification and Calibration Team in Wrexham. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution and management of all internal and external calibration activities across laboratory, production, and process equipment. You will ensure compliance with cGMP standards, support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to maintaining a safe and inspection-ready environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and corrective calibration of onsite instrumentation and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with specifications.
- Manage off-site calibration processes, including vendor coordination, documentation, and quality checks.
- Maintain and improve the calibration system, including procedure development, criticality assessments, and data-driven task reduction.
- Support site projects, equipment decommissioning, and training of team members and cross-functional staff.
- Ensure all calibration activities meet cGMP, EHS, and quality system requirements, including documentation and deviation management.
- Promote a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across the site.
- HNC/HND or equivalent in an Engineering related subject or equivalent experience
- Experience in a Calibration Technician role or similar position
- Experience with temperature and pressure calibration
