This role is part of the talented software development team within our thriving Telecoms business area. It reports directly into our C# Team Lead, who will provide hands-on guidance from day one.
The team is mainly working on a new system that has recently been implemented. Although it’s a full stack position, the main focus will be on Web API’s, backend C# and some significant future integrations.
The role is based from our head office site in Crewe, Cheshire and is eligible for inclusion in our hybrid working from home policy.

Your Responsibilities Will Include…
- Developing our new, live system which has recently replaced legacy
- Writing services to integrate with external APIs
- Maintaining older systems which are web, microservices and mobile-based
- Minimum of 12 months commercial C# development experience
- Experience with .NET 6 / Core Web APIs
- Experience in an Agile software development environment
- Good knowledge of relational databases (SQL etc)
- Comfortable using ORM technologies (Entity Framework, Dapper)
- Comfortable working with .NET framework and .NET Core
- Ability to write functioning code while keeping an eye out for defects
- Active interest in crafting solutions to business problems
- Ability to work well in a team, including taking part in team discussions and planning
