Key responsibilities
Trading Manager
As a Buyer, you will be responsible for achieving sales and profit targets for your category by developing and executing a strategic trading plan. This involves analyzing market trends, negotiating with suppliers, and managing promotional activities to drive profitable sales and market share growth. You will work closely with the Category Manager to set pricing, manage inventory, and ensure competitive positioning.
In this role, you will also lead cross-functional collaboration to optimize trading activities, track market insights, and identify opportunities for innovation. Strong project management, financial acumen, and excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be involved in budgeting, forecasting, and presenting to various stakeholders to secure support and engagement.
