Position Overview

Our Business Systems Analyst role serves as a key connector between IT and diverse business teams globally, leveraging data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations to a global stakeholder community. This role collaborates with cross-cultural teams across different time zones and regions to ensure IT projects create value and align with global business objectives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Inclusive Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

  • Partner with diverse stakeholders globally to gather and document business and technical requirements
  • Conduct feasibility studies considering regional variations and local market needs
  • Develop process flows that account for different regional practices and requirements Global Data Analysis:
  • Analyze data from multiple international sources while considering regional contexts and variations exhibiting strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Apply culturally-aware statistical analysis methods to provide insights relevant to different markets
  • Consider regional compliance requirements in data handling and analysis Global Project Management:
  • Create flexible project timelines accommodating different time zones and regional work practices
  • Manage deliverables across distributed teams and multiple locations ensuring continuous progress and on-time delivery
  • Navigate cross-cultural project dynamics and communication styles (somewhat repeated in below point) International Communication and Collaboration:
  • Adapt communication styles to diverse audiences across cultures and languages
  • Present complex data findings using culturally appropriate visualizations and examples
  • Foster inclusive collaboration across global teams with different working styles
  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness in all interactions Inclusive Documentation and Reporting:
  • Develop reports considering multiple audience needs and preferences
  • Create accessible dashboards that work across different regions and languages
  • Ensure documentation is clear and understandable for non-native English speakers Global Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify improvement opportunities that work across different regional contexts
  • Stay informed about global industry trends and diverse market practices
  • Consider varied regional perspectives when proposing changes
