YOUR ROLE
Our Business Process Excellence team, who sit within our amazing Transition & Transformation function, have an exciting opportunity for a Business Process Excellence Engineer.
This is a Monday to Friday position, working 40 hours per week, you must be flexible to working location as this role will see you working from head office in Ashby de la Zouch, from national operations and at times working from home, therefore you must hold a valid and clean driving license.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
As the BPE Engineer you will continuously identify and promote the implementation of improvements across operations in line with our UKIN processes and practices.
You will be responsible for building and managing a pipeline of cost down initiatives across all operational areas, ensuring continuous improvement targets are achieved, monitored and exceeded. You will assist with onsite implementations of best practice and the deployment of CEVA’s SCA and Kaizen programmes, reporting centrally and locally on performance and progress. This role will see you driving and embedding a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives where you will support and conduct site classification assessments in collaboration with operational and centralised teams.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To be successful in your application, you will have proven continuous improvement, operational excellence or business process excellence experience, practiced in deploying LEAN and Six Sigma techniques in an operational environment. You will have good working knowledge of warehousing or operational environments, including processes, practices and workflows with an understanding of warehouse management systems.
It goes without saying that you will be a natural communicator, capable of building excellent working relationships with a diverse group of operators. You will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with superb attention to detail and able to make decisions on complex issues and business requirements as and when required.
It would be desirable, however not essential if you hold a LEAN or Six Sigma certification.
