Frazer-Nash Consultancy is one of the established Defence, Engineering, and Technology Consultancies in the UK, and we are pleased to be recruiting a Business Manager covering our business activities in the Defence Digital.
The Business Manager for Defence Digital will have responsibility for growing a portfolio of profitable work with Defence Digital as part of the NAD group and Cyber and Specialist Operation Organisations. You will work to the Market Group Manager to develop strategies to grow the sector across our consultancy and Ventures lines of business utilising the breath of our Capability team across all phases of the CADMID cycle. You will also work with our capability, Delivery and Strategy functions to support identification of capability and capacity growth areas and the development of potential new services for existing clients
The Business Manager is responsible for relationship management with our clients. You will act as a sales and business development lead, managing bids and ensuring we maintain relationships that allow us to deliver effectively for our clients whilst we continue to grow our business.

The Business Manager is responsible for relationship management with our clients. You will act as a sales and business development lead, managing bids and ensuring we maintain relationships that allow us to deliver effectively for our clients whilst we continue to grow our business.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the strategy of the business.
- Work with existing technical delivery teams in the development of our services towards the needs of your clients.
- Oversee business development planning and associated activities.
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with a network of clients associated with your sector.
- Identify, characterise and capture opportunities to deliver the business.
- Work with resource managers to identify, secure and maintain the skills and experience required of your clients.
- Market knowledge of the sector, holding key relationships across the client base, supply chain and knowledge of our competitors.
- Significant commercial experience and business acumen having secured and led large scale commercial contracts for numerous clients within the sector client base and created supply chains with a diverse set of subcontractors.
- A highly effective communicator able to operate right across the business in support of whole company strategy.
